Maintains the daily marketing and communication functions of the department as they apply to social media and digital communications in a manner consistent with the corporate mission, values, and Bank brand. Applies a firm understanding of social media and digital marketing concepts to promote the Bank's community involvement efforts, educate and bring awareness to Bank initiatives, and helps keep the public informed about any changes affecting Bank operations. Manages and updates the Bank's website.
Responsible for all digital media, including social media, blogs, and others, incorporating photography and videography when appropriate, to increase brand awareness and promote Bank and inter-departmental initiatives. qualified applicants need the following: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, business, or related field. journalism required. Knowledge of the banking industry and familiarity with Bank products and services highly desirable and preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including solid presentation skills.
A team player with strong interpersonal skills who can interact effectively with staff and management across all departments. Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Primiere Pro, and be skilled in copywriting, photography and videography. A firm knowledge of multiple social media sites and their functions is required.
