Job Description
Animal House is a busy pet resort located at 665 Bell Fork Rd Jacksonville, NC 28540 . We are searching for a finished Groomer with at least 3 years of experience and solid knowledge of breed standard haircuts.
Must be able to work weekends. Must be available from 8am - 530pm.
Responsibilities:
- Bathing dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperament
- Brushing, fluffing, and drying all dogs in a safe and timely manner
- Trimming nails, cleaning ears, and removing eye crust
- Cleaning grooming area after use and ensuring a clean and safe working environment
- Interact professionally and effectively through verbal and written communication with all pet parents and staff
- Maintain a clean and healthy environment
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience with dog grooming, all coats, and breeds.
- Previous experience in animal care or other related fields
- Passion for helping and treating animals
- Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner
- Must love dogs - we have a lot of them :)
