Job Description

Scope of Position


Our client is searching for a driven Growth Channels Manager to help the company capitalize on opportunities in the following channels eCommerce, Natural and Organic Retailers, Club, and Dollar. The role will also be responsible for managing a natural and organic brand of Pancake Mixes, Alternative Flours, and Beans, Grains, and Seeds.


Responsibilities


  • Business Management Responsible for driving the growth plan for Arrowhead Mills including resource allocation, forecast development (with cross functional input) and on-going adjustments, budget recommendation and management, financial delivery of total P&L, business analysis in context of competitive environment identifying root cause and driving recommended actions to address issues and capitalize on opportunities, and be a part of key customer interactions as face of the category.
  • Alternative Channel Innovation Partner with cross-functional teammates to develop thoughtful innovation opportunities specific to the alternative channel space across all of Hometown Food Companys brands
  • eCommerce Strategy Work with Digital Associates and eRetailer sales team to drive profitable sales growth on eCommerce platform. Test and learn new marketing and sales support strategies to fuel growth in these channels across all brands
  • C-Suite Level Communication Lead the communication of alternative channel strategy development and monthly progress reports to the C-Suite.

Qualifications


Required

  • Bachelors degree, MBA is a plus.
  • 5-6 years of relevant product marketing/brand management or Sales experience
  • Prior experience within CPG preferred
  • Experience in sales or working closely with the sales function
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Financial/business acumen, ability to work with large data sets, and translate that information into actionable insights
  • Prior experience with Nielsen, IRI, or SPINS is preferred

Desired

  • Demonstrated ability to succeed in startup and/or private equity backed company
  • Proven skills in Shopper Marketing, Digital Marketing, Social Media
  • Food Marketing or Sales and Baking category experience a strong plus
  • Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint
