Our client has created a line of products to improve code quality and support the craft of coding.
Their first product created a new category and is the market leader in an enterprise code quality product.
They are looking to hire a growth leader to accelerate adoption of their second product, a real time code quality tool for developers. Almost all code quality tools today are top-down, “Big Brother is watching” management tools. Our client’s product is based on the joy of coding and improving one’s skill as a developer—treating code as the craft it is, not a competition. The product is free and has built-in virality mechanisms in product functionality. A paid offering with Enterprise functionality will be available in the second half of 2022.
Our client is seeking a high energy – high profile individual to spearhead its next level of company growth focused exclusively on its second product.
The right candidate will have experience attracting software developers to products or services. The audience for this product is software engineers at fast growing software companies who are looking to elevate their code.
You will be responsible for ensuring and managing our client’s growth of the first product, through metrics like adoption, sharing, depth of use, and social ROIs. You will join a team that is extremely intentional about using values and communication to build extraordinary products, enable team members to be the best version of themselves, and shares a lot of gifs with each other. This particular problem—how can a software quality tool delight and amaze software developers—has never been solved before. The right candidate will be as excited about this challenge as our client is.
What you bring to the table:
- 5+ years’ experience in customer acquisition for products, specifically in a technology company
- Prior background/experience as an engineer/coder/programmer a plus, even as a hobby
- Demonstrated, elite, track record in product growth. Experience in marketing, sales, and or product management a plus.
- Relevant experience in B2C, B2B2C or both
- Experience interacting with developer communities strongly preferred
