Our client’s subscription based SaaS platform is an intuitive deal desk software that works with CRM’s. Their product helps SaaS companies increase their win rates, manage their discount hygiene, and unearth roadblocks in their approval workflow to reduce time to close deals. They enable sales reps to be creative with their deals in product selection, subscription pricing, and contract terms. And there's a strong collaboration between the Finance, Legal and Sales teams using their product for bridging that last mile of the sales process.

The Account Executive will play a key role in driving our client’s sales activities in the Bay Area. This role includes activities developing and executing on the go-to-market strategy for your territory. The ideal candidate needs to have experience selling SaaS to Mid-sized companies.

What you will do:

  • Generate new business opportunities to fuel company growth
  • Create and prioritize strategic target account lists within a defined territory
  • Research and build new and existing accounts (i.e. adding contacts, sending emails, strategic calling)
  • Conduct high level conversations with senior executives in prospect accounts
  • Evangelize the company with passion and energy
  • Achieve monthly quotas of qualified opportunities and closed business
  • Initiate, develop and maintain executive level relationships and drive sales activities with key customers
  • Understand target customers business needs, develop proposals and accurately articulate the company’s value proposition at the executive level
  • Assist and close complex transactions and be willing to get into the trenches with the team
  • Startup or early stage company experience
  • Travel within your territory

What you need to have:

  • 3-6 years outbound sales experience, preferably in an inside sales, high velocity sales environment
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience selling to sales or sales ops teams
  • Proven track record of consistent quota attainment by month/quarter/year
  • Mid-market software sales experience
  • CRM experience
  • Inside sales, SDR prospecting experience is a plus
  • Team player, strong collaborator
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Motivation, drive, and a self-starting attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
  • Ability to understand customer needs and meet that need with a successful product sale
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
