People Working Cooperatively is a truly unique non-profit organization that helps the low-income elderly, disabled, and other residents of the Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky and Eastern Indiana maintain their homes with critical home repairs and energy conservation services.
All positions will require own reliable transportation, a Valid DL and Auto Insurance. Must have a HS diploma/GED. We offer FT work with Benefits, Vacation, Vehicle Allowance and Mileage. Must be willing to take a: Drug Test, Background and physical- no shots or blood draw.
RESIDENTIAL ELECTRICIAN WANTED- JOURNEYMAN willing to get Masters License or MASTER ELECTRICIAN
Perform home repair tasks using training in specialty trade as well as general home repair tasks as needed.
Essential Job Objectives
§ Inspects, troubleshoots, and performs electrical repairs such as new and modifying existing wiring.
§ Plan and verify work order, including materials and equipment needed for the project.
§ Train and inspect the work of any associates assigned to ensure quality; responsible for assigned equipment as assigned.
§ Maintain accurate and timely paperwork.
§ Responsible for ensuring tools are maintained and in good repair.
§ Responsible for on-site safety compliance.
The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required:
§ Must possess a valid driver’s license.
§ Dependable work vehicle equipped to carry ladders, tools, and materials, as required.
§ Must have PWC’s required level of insurance coverage for the vehicle.
Provide own tools as required.
Education and/or Experience
§ Master or Journeyman license.
§ Ability to perform all tasks as a specialist in electrical skills.
Other Skills/Abilities & Functions
- Potential work site supervisory responsibilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to work with hands.
- Lifting of materials (up to 50 pounds)
- Ability to work in tight spaces
- Frequent standing, stooping, walking, crawling, lifting of light to medium objects (up to 50 pounds).
- Low income client homes.
