This teacher will be assigned students in grades 1-5 at the Kings Valley Charter School. Generally, at the KVCS, teachers need to be flexible in job assignments in order to accommodate changing enrollment.
The teacher must have a teacher’s license and meet highly qualified status for Elementary Self-Contained Classrooms.
Strong knowledge of reading instruction.
Experience teaching in a multi-grade classroom.
Experience implementing a guided reading program.
Experience teaching in schools subject to parental choice.
Experience teaching with project-based learning methods.
Strong reading, math and writing instruction skills.
