Job Description:

Primary responsibilities of this role:

  • Orders, initiation and management;
  • Independently manage assigned accounts through direct interaction with the customer in dealing with their bookings, confirming orders, and input of the order data into the system according to the established procedures so that they can be completed by the departments:
  • Search for information and alternatives when the orders cannot be completed according to customer needs;
  • Evaluate order handling process to ensure entering, auditing and expediting are complete;
  • Decide on substitutions when ordered variety is not available;
  • Order follow-up, incidences and claims and communicate with external and internal customers about the process and possible delays;
  • Daily analysis of open order report to ensure accuracy of bookings and ship dates;
  • Distribute open order report.
  • Ensure customers are well informed of their orders in process and outstanding booking balances;
  • Analyze, communicate and register claims and complaints including wrong shipments
  • Providing advising and proposals relating to customer complaints and issues;
  • Continuous evaluation and analysis of bookings verses available inventory/incoming crop through independent communication with the logistics department.
  • Responsible for the execution of seed allocations to customers as approved by Crop Sales Managers and received by logistics.
  • Evaluation and analysis of bookings to accurately reflect shortages;
  • Maintenance and exploitation of data;
  • Continual enhancement of industry knowledge and company product lines, price lists and various marketing promotional services;
  • Occasional visits with customers, Crop Sales Managers, and other internal personnel to ensure customer expectations are being met and/or exceeded;
  • Establish and maintain a good climate of collaboration with internal and external customer and give administrative support and assistance to Crop Sales Managers as needed by providing customer reports and booking information.
  • Evaluate and analyze customer complaints using set procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required with a minimum of 2 years' in a customer service environment is preferred;
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Language skills; English required; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred;
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills;
  • Working knowledge of traffic coordination, sales and marketing procedures, and sales and inventory control systems.
  • Strong computer (MS Office), phone, technical and aptitude skills;
  • Strong Organizational Skills.
