Psychotherapist/Counselor/Social Worker in Phoenix, Arizona

Compensation Range: varies depending on licensing and experience.... can be up to $100,000/year

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Behavioral Health Technician or Behavioral Health Professional i.e. Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Associate Counselor or related discipline in the West Valley. Our agency provides mental health services (mostly home-visits), so you must have a car and valid driver’s license and be willing to drive to clients’ homes.

Job includes conducting intake assessment and treatment plans with severely mentally ill, general mental health, and substance abuse clients in the home for referral to one of our in home counselors.

Essential Functions:

As a member of the clinical team, complete assessments and service plans and implement services to clients in accordance with the Individualized Service Plan (ISP). Implement the policies and clinical management procedures in a professional manner in order to better assist clients. Supervise clinical activities ensuring the program services are provided in accordance with policies and procedures, local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and licensure/accreditation standards. Communicate and document clients progress towards their goals. Other duties as assigned. Serves as mentor, coach and teacher for staff, particularly in the area of assessment and treatment.


- Undergraduate Degree in behavioral health field with two years behavioral health work experience with conducting initial intake assessments and treatment plans

- Master’s Degree in a behavioral health related field OR

- Master’s Degree in a non-behavioral health related field and two years behavioral health work experience OR

--Valid driver’s license, computer literacy, and time management skills are a must.
