Penngood, a strategic communications firm, is seeking a Marketing, Communications, and Fundraising Specialist with extensive experience in developing and implementing outreach campaigns for workplace giving programs and organizations. Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) experience is preferred.
JOB TYPE – Full-time and Part-time Positions Available
The candidate must have direct or related experience developing and implementing a local marketing plan that includes:
Conducting outreach to the federal workforce and military personnel.
Communicating CFC messages that encourage potential donors to give money and volunteer hours through the CFC.
Planning , developing, coordinating, and supporting:
Campaign training (in-person and virtual) for federal and military campaign teams and charities
In-person and virtual outreach via agency awareness events, charity fairs, and awards programs with federal and military campaign teams and charities
Customizing and disseminating outreach materials to potential donors via traditional and web-based channels, including events and other activities, e-mail blasts, social media (e.g., Twitter, Facebook, Instagram), website posts, etc. Website, digital and social media postings and updates
Dissemination of promotional items
Talking points, remarks, speeches and presentations for campaign update meetings as requested
Working collaboratively and providing regular updates to stakeholders on campaign and outreach metrics and progress via data driven reports that track progress.
Level 1: A minimum of 2-4 years of experience as a marketing and communications professional.
Level 2: 5+ years of experience in a working with charities, charitable and workplace giving programs, non-profit marketing, communication, and/or fundraising or related area.
Prior supervisory or management experience preferred.
Must be experienced in digital and social media planning and execution.
Must be a self-starter, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
Must be persuasive and have excellent verbal and written skills to communicate program benefits and asks.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to be organized, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced campaign environment.
Must be creative and innovative in developing strategies and tactics that encourage giving.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Highly proficient in digital and social media: E-mail, Facebook, Twitter, Webinar Platforms (e.g., Adobe Connect, Zoom, GoToWebinar,)
Familiar with and ability to use utilize project management software in performance (e.g., Unanet, Microsoft Teams).
Must be able to travel.
Must have your own vehicle.
Must have your own PC/Laptop with Microsoft Office Suite and internet connection.
Must be able to operate various internet search engines.
Ability to access military and government facilities.
Pre-cleared military installation access a plus, but not required.
