Penndel Mental Health Center is a non profit community based mental health agency located in Langhorne. We are seeking candidates to join our team of professionals who are passionate about working with individuals diagnosed with mental illness, intellectual disability, or drug and alcohol addiction. Our focus is to foster a culture of collaboration, respect and personal growth.

Job duties include but are no limited to:

     Prescribes medication as indicated and appropriate and conducts regular medication monitoring visits.

     Performs psychiatric evaluations, when approved, for the purpose of diagnosing the presence of mental illness and ongoing treatment planning

     Monitors progress of treatment of an assigned caseload of clients, and make appropriate referrals to other services as needed and indicated

     Collaborates with members of the clinical/psychiatric/support staff, outside agency representatives, family members, and other appropriate persons regarding the treatment and status of shared clients

     Completes nursing assessments and facilitates group therapy in the Acute Partial Hospital Program

     Responds to internal behavioral health & medical crisis, as needed

     Completes all required documentation in a timely manner, including but not limited to comprehensive clinical charting, treatment plans, insurance authorizations, fiscal paperwork and outside agency requests for information

      Participates in treatment planning meetings, staff development and training meetings as needed

      Oversees the agency Clozaril Monitoring Program, which includes prescribing medication, performing “vitals,” reviewing lab results and facilitating all paperwork and orders to pharmacies, and completing all necessary clinical documentation
