Penndel Mental Health Center is a non profit community based mental health agency located in Langhorne. We are seeking candidates to join our team of professionals who are passionate about working with individuals diagnosed with mental illness, intellectual disability, or drug and alcohol addiction. Our focus is to foster a culture of collaboration, respect and personal growth.
We are actively seeking Mental Health Professionals that are passionate about working with children/adolescents diagnosed with a mental illness and have strong organizational and communication skills.
Case management activities including, but not limited to: facilitating community integration, needs assessment and planning, service linkage and coordination, information and referral, transportation, education and training, advocacy on behalf of the family, assisting in relief services (in-home and out-of-home respite, recreation, day care), assessing and meeting FSS needs. Adhering to documentation requirements, facilitating interagency meetings, and discharge planning and coordination.
Treatment services, which are videotaped include, but is not limited to: individual and family therapy, sibling therapy, play therapy, parenting skills, behavior management techniques, coping skill building, crisis stabilization, improvement of family relationships, encouraging psychosocial competence in the home, school, and/or community, adjusting parenting approaches to the needs of the child, monitoring treatment goals, inclusion of all family members in the treatment of identified client, collaboratively develop and modify treatment plan goals, objectives, and outcomes with the family and other involved child-serving systems.
Master Degree in Human Services
2-3 Years of experience working with children/adolescents with a mental health diagnosis
Active driver license
