We are looking to add a Full time Co-occurring Drug and Alcohol Counselor position to our team!
Penndel Mental Health Center is a non profit community based mental health agency located in Langhorne. We are seeking candidates to join our team of professionals who are passionate about working with individuals diagnosed with mental illness, intellectual disability, or drug and alcohol addiction. Penndel Mental Health Center is excited to offer an opportunity to work in a growing Adolescent Co-occurring Drug and Alcohol Outpatient Program. We are seeking a counselor who is highly passionate about working with youth/TAY addressing addiction and recovery in both treatment and prevention roles and various types of milieus. Comfort working with family dynamics highly desired. This role may include community education and outreach in various settings. Full -time position to work mostly with Adolescents and Transitional Age Youth age 14- 25.
This position requires a minimum of an Associate Degree in Human Services, CADC certification and 2 years clinical experience in a human services field, preferably in a drug and alcohol or co-occurring setting. Master’s Degree, professional licensure and addiction certification highly preferred.
