Penick Village Continuing Care Retirement community is seeking an experienced, proactive and project driven Facility Technician, to join our facility maintenance team. The Facility Technician performs skilled work essential in preserving and repairing equipment, buildings and facilities. Work requires specialization in two or more technical trades in connection with maintenance of facilities, and related equipment and machinery. Work assignments are complex and require planning and coordination of multiple trade disciplines. This position functions with limited oversight and seeks input from higher level trade specialists in the completion of novel maintenance problems and issues. Work is performed independently; however, the position may refer unusual work problems to their supervisor for consideration and final determination. This position provides technical guidance to others working in cross functional positions. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned technician looking for opportunity of engaging in an array of tasks in an environment of newly constructed facilities and established properties and equipment.
