Senior Aircraft Integrator

Position Summary:
Lead efforts to create necessary technical data and technical orders to ensure maintainability and sustainability of aircraft modifications. Analyze host aircraft/store compatibility requirements. Considered to be a subject matter expert and will mentor junior IPT members. Complete all required tasking autonomously.
Essential Functions:
- Create efficiencies in avionics system integration and technical data generation.
- Provide mature leadership to the integration effort.
- Lead efforts to create necessary technical data and technical orders to ensure maintainability and sustainability of aircraft modifications.
- Participate in and/or oversee integration of new hardware and software modifications to pre- and post-block F-16 aircraft
- Interface directly with sustaining engineers and depot technicians to conduct TO validation/verification activities and plan and execute large scale aircraft modifications
- Complete all tasks autonomously.
- Mentor junior IPT members as a subject matter expert.

- Other duties assigned by supervisor/manager.
Working Conditions:
Office conditions. Travel and/or field work as required by contract.
Work Hours:
As assigned by supervisor/manager.
Equipment/Technology Used (Other than Standard Office Equipment):
Equipment as needed to support F-16 engineering efforts.
Physical Demands:
Able to sit for long periods of time. Able to travel and/or work outside of office conditions as required.
Mental Demands:
Able to perform all tasks as required by contractor or supervisor. Able to multi-task.
Communication Demands:
Able to communicate (i.e., verbal and written) with all levels of personnel both internally and externally.
Minimum Qualification Requirements (In Addition to Physical, Mental, and Communication Demands Listed Above):
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Prefer an advanced degree.
Experience:
- At least ten years of relevant professional experience.
Skills/Knowledge:
- Knowledge and experience with F-16 aircraft electrical power and avionics systems.
Security Clearance Requirements:
- SECRET level clearance within 5 years.
