Licensed Dispensing Optician/Eyewear Sales Consultant (Pearle Vision)

We are looking for licensed dispensing opticians and eyewear style consultants who embody our passion and responisbility to deliver outstanding eyecare to our patients so they can live their best life possible.

Job Responsibility and Tasks

• Produce store sales by adhering to and fostering a retail selling culture by using effective retail sales skills

• Develop professional and working relationships with team mebers and optometrists

• Fill optometrist prescriptions, fit and adapt lenses, frames and lens coatings to suit patient needs

• Assist patients in the selection of frames, and coordinate frames to prescription and patient needs

• Perform appropriate optical related measurements

• Ensure a quality patient experience through correct pricing, POS entry, and realistic dispensing timeframe

• Provide appropriate guidance to patients regarding managed vision care

• Assist with the timely execution of approved marketing programs and initiatives, and the implementation of appropriate signage and promotions according to company standards

• Other duties as assigned by store manager

Required Knowledge and Skills

• State licensure and certification by a nationally-recognized opticianry association as an optician

• Eyewear sales

• Strong customer service to exceed patient expectaitions

• Pleasent personality and bed-side manner with patients/customers

• Strong attention to detail and follow-up

• Ability to multi task

• Working knowledge of personal computers/MAC and other technology (technologically savvy)
