General Summary:

As a Data Analyst, you will be required to think strategically and deeply understand our financial, customer, and product engagement data in order to lead ad hoc exploratory investigations into our data, design and maintain parameterized reports, and help guide stakeholders across the organization to ask the right questions and make the best decisions for the business.

You will sit directly with the Data Analytics team, work in close collaboration with the Sports Brands leadership team, Product Managers, and Product Marketing Managers and report to the VP, Operations.

Core Functions:

  • Manage scorecards, dashboards and ad hoc reports for both SaaS and traditional products.
  • Work with various individuals and/or teams across the organization to perform exploratory investigations into our data.
  • Answer questions and make recommendations on data ranging from financial/SaaS metrics to customer demographics, product engagement, marketing/sales/CS efficiencies and more from stakeholders across the business.
  • Work with various stakeholders to define new data points and measures of success as new business questions arise.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
  • Background in statistics, data analytic, data science or computer engineering
  • Proficient at working in and leveraging analytical data warehouses (i.e SQL, dimensional data modeling, ETL processes, etc.)
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to create clear visualization and present complex data to a wide range of audiences
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to distill problem definitions and constraints from informal business requirements
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives
  • Degrees are not required and we value all forms of continued education including traditional four-year degrees, post-graduate degrees, associates degrees, bootcamps, online training, professional certifications, self-teaching and more.

  • Experience with our products
  • Experience with SaaS business metrics
  • Experience with modern BI analytics tools
  • Experience with event tracking & analytics tools (Segment, Sigma, GA4 etc.)

Peaksware/TrainingPeaks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Colorado is $55,063 - $91,772. This position is also remote-friendly and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.

This role is eligible for variable compensation including bonus.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment that is well-lighted, heated, and/or air-conditioned with adequate ventilation and a noise level that is usually moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets.
