Summary
Directs and coordinates activities of PO's clinical, DME, medication dispensing, case management, orthobiologics, research/outcomes, APP provider and radiology departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Oversees work and strategic planning and goal establishment of subordinate managers of clinical, radiology, case management, APP, research/outcomes, orthobiologics and DME departments. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Also directly supervises non-supervisory employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Recommends establishment or revision of policies, procedures, and methods and develops organizational structure and standards of performance.
- Advises and assists Chief Operating Officer, executive and operations committee and medical staff in planning and developing administrative and operational policies and procedures, facilities use and planning, and strategic planning.
- Consults with C-Suite, department heads, and others to coordinate clinical activities with other operational activities.
- Committee Assignments: Operations, Orthobiologics/Regenerative Medicine, Bundled Payments, Research, Compliance, APP (Advanced Practice Provider).
- Evaluates the education and training needs of personnel and directs development and implementation of in-service and training programs.
- Makes periodic rounds of clinical units.
- Oversees compliance (HIPAA, OSHA, corporate compliance) for clinical, DME, orthobiologics, and radiology departments.
- Develops and promotes cooperative working relationships with hospitals and community agencies, and with other departments.
- Performs personnel management functions such as establishing personnel qualification requirements, drafting procedure manuals, initiating in-service and training programs, and installing record and reporting systems.
- Prepares periodic reports related to quality, clinical activities and patient care.
- Develop and utilize a metric-based system to improve patient care, and departmental efficiency.
- Respond to patient and provider complaints resulting in timely and effective resolution.
- Provides direct and indirect supervision and participates in staff performance evaluation.
- Evaluates performance and recommends merit increases, promotions, and disciplinary action in a timely and effective manner.
- Develops and recommends budget for the departments and administers budget in accordance with company policy.
- Identifies and implements new workflows, software tools to improve departmental accuracy and efficiency.
- Oversees recruitment and hiring for clinical, radiology, case management, APP, research/outcomes, orthobiologics and DME departments, ensuring appropriate staffing levels for all clinics and departments.
- Participates as a senior team member in a cohesive and constructive way resulting in senior team alignment, decision making and problem solving.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's Degree required; Graduate Degree preferred.
- Clinical experience in nursing, allied health (PT/OT/ATC), or provider (physician assistant or nurse practitioner) experience required, as well as five years' experience in managing a large number of employees within a clinical setting with budget and financial oversight and clinical operations management.
- Active Georgia license in nursing, allied health profession, PA, NP.
