Job Description

Paymerang is growing our Strategic Partnership efforts and is looking for a highly motivated Account Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of our current partners and creating new partner opportunities that will help our team uncover new opportunities for our business development team. The Account Executive will be the main point of contact for our partners and will identify, create, forge, manage, scale and sustain our partners to help generate new opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain relationships with existing partners to keep accurate account information and document partner communication
  • Identify and forge new partnerships according to team needs
  • Onboarding and training of new partner team
  • Submit partnership checklist, sponsorship recommendations, and event registration
  • for approval and ensure accounts are in good standing
  • Act as liaison between Paymerang and partner team lead to answer all partner inquiries, share pipeline, and develop new partner initiatives
  • Run monthly partner check-in meetings and provide regular updates to team
  • Provide pipeline and reporting to VP, Business Development
  • Generate new sales opportunities through partner channel and share pipeline with partner and appropriate VP Business Development
  • Attend and network at partner events
  • Setup 1:1 meetings for VPs in your industry through partner
  • Coordinate with Marketing to deliver collateral and thought leadership content
  • Maintain calendar of all partner events, contract renewals, and important deadlines

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of sales experience, outside sales experience is a plus
  • Outgoing, energetic, and personable
  • High impact communication, organization, and presentation skills
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and can manage deliverables and deadlines
  • Ability to build and foster relationships

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of the B2B payment automation landscape and Software as a Service (SaaS)
  • Existing network of contacts and relationships in the B2B space is a plus
