Assist the Director in delivering the marketing message of the organization through use of the organization's websites, electronic software, social media and traditional media assets. Establish personal marketing relationships with stakeholders. Communicate the advantages of doing business in Paulding County to existing and potential businesses. Promote Paulding County by attending local and regional events as a representative of the Paulding County Economic Development, Inc (PCED). Work with the Director to prepare PCED board agendas, meeting notices and correspondence. Attend PCED board meetings and assist with planning of events. Assist the Director in implementing a retention and expansion program with incumbent Paulding County businesses. Assist the Director in the implementation of a growth strategy for membership and financial support for the PCED. Assist the Director in the administration of the annual state and local incentive agreements performance review process. Assist the Director in researching for grant opportunity and writing grants for both economic development projects and community development projects in Paulding County.
Demonstrated business administration skills evidenced by education or experience. Ability to use various computer software - accounting, website, social media. At present, the organization utilizes Microsoft Office software, Constant Contact, QuickBooks and other assorted business software programs. On-line or in person training may be required as needed. Ability to work in a fast-paced business environment, managing multiple project assignments simultaneously. Ability to present a favorable public image as a representative of the PCED. Ability to manage and lead organizational tasks independently. Absolute adherence to strict confidentiality responsibilities as outlined by both Ohio law and organizational policy set down by the Executive Director.
