This position is so much more than the traditional data reporting role. This person will be responsible for not only helping with data pulls and reporting, but also "operationalizing" the data to support key stakeholders in leveraging the data to drive operational changes. They will have to work with various clinical and operational leaders to ensure the data is developed and visualized in a way that can help drive change, but also granular enough to drive performance management at the individual level.
1. This person will design and enhance reports using Epic's Clarity system and data warehouse, Crystal Reports and SQL.
2. Technically you'll program/develop stored procedures/views and enhance report schedules and user security on the Business Objects application.
3. Only a daily basis you'll need to inspect/oversee the institution's reporting needs and develops reports and data extracts while defining and maintaining a reporting management strategy that is secure and standards-driven. You'll be directly involved with designing/develops extracts from Epic's Chronicles database and Epic Reporting Workbench.
This person will also have the opportunity to design dashboards and data visualizations using MS Business Intelligence Tools, Power BI, SharePoint and SSRS.
What's great about this position: This position will help lead our team as we work on transforming the patient experience. We started the process about a year ago and have increased MyChart activation to above 60%, increased self-scheduling to close to 14%, and we're in the process of implementing new integrated telemedicine and texting platforms that will support engagement. The team works indirectly with all of the operational teams across the organization and this role will have a critical role in supporting the performance management
What's great about the team: The team works very similar to a consulting type model with project sprints that work on a few priorities at a time while continuing to move the ball across all four major areas of the digital transformation: digital front door, telemedicine services, remote patient monitoring, and provider efficiency solutions.
What type of person are we hiring: We're looking for a problem solver, who can collaborate at a high level and have the ability to use data optimally for each patient situation. Example: Being able to use the data provided daily so that it's an operational asset to better deliver the services to each patient. For example, we have developed a PowerBI dashboard to track MyChart Activation that allows for each point of service staff member to determine how they have been doing in sending out activation codes for MyChart. Each manager is also able to see their entire team and drive actions to correct the processes/workflows to ensure that each patient gets a MyChart activation code.
