What does a Project Manager with Paul Davis do? A Project Manager is a Difference Maker on the front lines of restoring their communities by leading others to complete construction projects on time and on budget. The Project Manager supports the Project Management Team by overseeing stakeholder relationships throughout the construction process to restore properties damaged by fire, water, and storm back to pre-loss conditions. He/she is responsible for establishing systems, resources, and procedures that ensure customer satisfaction, reduce overall job cycle time, and maintain profitability. 

The Large Loss & Commercial Project Manager is an influential, customer-facing position that focuses on larger, more complex projects that require a higher degree of management, problem-solving, and decision making. You will have the autonomy to control your own schedule and continually take advantage of learning opportunities that will lead to personal and professional growth.

 Role On The Team:
  • Execute and administer contracts for large (over $50,000.00), complex, and commercial projects 
  • Inspect properties and draft job estimates with accurate scopes of work in a timely manner
  • Negotiate and execute change orders, work orders, subcontracts, and purchase orders
  • Assume responsibility for profitability and the oversight of job budgets
  • Manage job schedules and oversee in-house labor
  • Celebrate the completion of projects with property owners, skilled tradespeople, and your Paul Davis team members
  • Meet operational objectives of Customer Satisfaction, Profitability, Sales, and Brand Experience
  • Cultivate long-term client relationships with key customers
  • Set standards for high-quality workmanship and assist in worker development
  • Seek partnerships that improve the overall performance of our subcontractor and material vendor network
  • Properly document project files using multiple software applications and platforms
  • Manage regulatory, health, and safety risks consistent with federal, state, and local requirements 
Before You Can Take the Field: The working environment requires this role to be able to physically perform in all types of indoor and outdoor conditions. There is frequent use of personal protective equipment, bending, squatting, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Must pass our drug and criminal background check.
