Construction Field Inspector (Electrical):
Construction Field Inspectors in the mechanical and electrical disciplines will perform construction inspection work to ensure compliance with plans and specifications involving mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic elements of construction projects, including station cooling, dry standpipe system, drainage pump system, and sewer ejector facilities.
The inspectors will be responsible for ensuring that project aspects, for which he/she is aware, are completed in accordance with approved plans and specifications along with approved means, methods and procedures.
The inspectors will receive assignments from and report to the project manager, task manager, or designated representative.
Based on daily contact, the inspectors will complete observations; the observations and records will be used to evaluate inspectors’ performance as to effectiveness and completeness of daily duties, and success in achieving technical construction compliance, quality and safety provisions of the contract.
