Join this growing full-service hospitality group as F&B Director for this fabulous boutique hotel in Santa Rosa!

This hospitality group has several concepts in restaurants, bars and hotels, and serves food made from scratch, everything fresh and healthy, much of it farm to table. It believes in health and wellness for all, takes care of its team members, and is looking for a star player for its team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Profitably manage multiple food & beverage outlets at a high level of service and quality
  • Develop SOP's, train staff, and provide consistent motivation, feedback and discipline to build a great team that works well together
  • Develop food & beverage menus with the Corporate Chef for restaurants, bars, room service, special events, and private dining
  • Ensure consistently high quality, presentation, guest service, safety & sanitation standards
  • Develop and implement daily operation plans for all restaurants and bars to achieve or exceed budget
  • Recruit, hire, orient & train, assign, schedule, coach staff/team
  • Meet or exceed food and beverage financial objectives by forecasting, working with the annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions
  • Regularly review and evaluate the degree of customer satisfaction of the individual restaurants, bars and banquet service. Recommend new operating and marketing policies as needed
  • Maximize bar profitability by ensuring portion control; monitoring accuracy of charges, bar menu, pricing, events
  • Maintain safe, secure, and health environment by establishing, following and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations; securing revenues; developing and implementing disaster plans; maintaining security and sprinkler systems; maintaining parking lot and walkways
  • Maintain ambiance by controlling lighting, background music, linen service, glassware, dinnerware, utensil quality and placement, and monitoring food presentation and service
  • Stay current with food trends, presentation
  • Customer focused - bringing high guest experience to the forefront
  • Charismatic leader who adjusts leadership style to motivate diverse groups to achieve extraordinary goals and overcome challenges

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2+ years as successful F&B Director or Multi-Unit Manager for a hotel or full-service restaurant/bar group, managing annual sales of at least $4M+
  • Experience with managing and developing teams
  • Extremely organized, able to multi-task, manage staff, clients, and events
  • Excellent with systems; able to develop SOP’s, train to them, and hold people accountable to them
  • Extensive experience in restaurant, bar, banquet, stewarding, kitchen, sales, catering and management required
  • Open to relocation candidates from CA, NV
