About this job 

The Project Manager works with Patra’s On Demand customers, internal, and international teams to coordinate and complete projects on time, within hours budget, and within scope.  Project Managers will oversee all aspects of assigned projects to include setting deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress.  The Project Manager interacts effectively with multiple layers of client’s staff as well as colleagues and serves as primary contact/liaison during the implementation process to ensure work consistency and standards meet/beat client expectations.   

Successful candidates will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.  The successful candidate will be a self-starter, well organized, highly detailed, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.  The preferred candidate will have experience in project management in the insurance industry.   

Core Duties  

  • Lead assigned implementations team in all facets of the project/ manage ongoing implementation projects 
  • Coordinate internal resources for the flawless execution of multiple projects 
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within hours budget 
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility 
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation 
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress 
  • Manage changes to the project scope and project schedule using appropriate verification techniques 
  • Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques 
  • Report and escalate to management as needed 
  • Manage the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders 
  • Perform risk management to minimize potential risks 
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation 
  • Meet with clients to clarify specific requirements of each project 
  • Delegate project tasks based on junior colleagues’ individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels 
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals 
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other colleagues 
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs 
  • Use time management and organizational skills 
  • Protects confidentiality of information learned by performing duties of the position 
  • Other duties as assigned 

Minimum Requirements – Licensing, Education and Experience

  • Project management experience  
  • Project Management Professional Certification from the Project Management Institute

  • Knowledgeable in project management ideology and systems  
  • Experience in resolving client issues 
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally 
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency, initiative, responsiveness, and attention to detail 
  • Must be able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality 
  • Exhibits a high level of positivity, energy, and teamwork orientation  
  • Proficient in using technology as a tool to maximize productivity/quality

Working Conditions 

  • Work from home remotely in United States only
  • Minimum internet speed of 6 mbps download and 3 mbps upload; Directly connected to modem; No satellite

  • Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks
