Accountant or Sr Accountant

this position is a supervisor role

We need the person to be able to handle costing and reporting as well.

 Entering financial data and transactions into the ledger

 Reviewing financial documents for accuracy and reconciling accounts

 Analyzing financial data and providing financial recommendations

 Ensuring financial records comply with regulatory standards

 Generating financial reports

 Collecting and analyzing data about a company’s operational costs

 Setting standard costs of manufactured goods

 Developing and analyzing cost standards

 Establishing costs of business processes such as administration, labor, shipping, etc.

 Collaborating with other departments to complete accurate records and provide accounting support

 Preparing taxes or gathering tax documents

 Supporting the Auditor, Controller and other financial professionals in their duties as needed

 Recommending changes to the company’s processes and policies to reduce cost and maximize profit

 Advising executives and upper management on appropriate costing based on financial data

 Managing the company’s balance sheet and accounting books

 Supporting other team members as needed

Qualifications:

 Strong analytical skills

 Effective problem-solving skills to identify and correct financial discrepancies.

 Technical accounting skills

 Technical skills and experience using accounting software

 Understanding of accounting standards and regulatory requirements

 Excellent attention to detail

 Effective communication, including writing, speaking and active listening  Ability to work on a team and independently

 Bilingual Spanish and English preferred With more than 3 plus years of experience must,

Salary info:

$40 - $50 / hr
