### Responsibilities

As an Administrative Support Assistant, the incumbent provides
support services to the Office of Equal Employment Opportunity and
Diversity (OEEOD) leadership and staff.

These duties include, but are not limited to:

- Planning and developing a systematic electronic method for
naming, identifying, and retrieving information associated with
EEO matters and issues.
- Conducting research as required to answer questions associated
with the administrative support services of the Office and
relationship to the Office's mission, ensuring that responses
comply with established statutes/regulations, policies, and
- Staying abreast of directives and instructional material
pertaining to administrative support practices and clerical
procedures in order to be aware of new, revised, or amended
- Purchasing supplies services, material, and equipment through
credit card purchases, purchase orders, federal supply, and
blanket purchase agreements and serving as the Office's property
custodian for tracking equipment and assets.
- Receiving calls, greeting visitors, and directing to appropriate
- Preparing a wide range of documentation and forms and formatting
presentations, documentation, and spreadsheets.
- Preparing travel requests and all associated actions and
documentation; assembling, preparing, and submitting reports of
staff time charges; and maintaining time cards.

### Qualifications

You must meet the following United States Office of Personnel
Management's (OPM) qualification requirements for the advertised

**Specialized Experience**: is experience that has equipped you with
the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform
successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or
related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized
experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower
grade level in the federal service. Candidates for the GS-07 grade
level must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience
equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service.
Specialized experience for this position includes:
