Job Description

A highly reputable independent Jewelry Store if looking for an Office coordinator to join their team. This position will support the Store Manager and team in a professional manner with excellent client service. You will assist in overseeing administrative and inventory processes to ensure timely and efficient records and operation.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inventory weekly ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Enter new inventory ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct weekly repair, special order and appraisal reports.
  • Update client information in computer system.
  • Typing client appraisals.
  • Ensure items are shipped out quickly and efficiently.
  • Assist in setting, displaying and pulling merchandise in show cases, within time allowed as requested.
  • Assist in operating POS system, credit card machines and printer equipment as requested.
  • Answer phone in professional manner and direct calls appropriately or take messages.
  • Accept deliveries on behalf of the store.
  • Keep extra supplies, stock and displays organized.
  • Assist with opening and closing daily transactions, as well as balancing out the day as requested.
  • Assist in training and educating new staff in POS procedure as requested.
  • Buy office supplies.
  • Provide customer service by greeting customers when sales team is not available.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Point of Sales operation.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Hours:

9:30 – 6:15 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, Noon to 6:15 p.m. every Thursday & every other Friday, and 9:30 – 3:15 p.m. every other Saturday

Note: November and December hours would include working every Saturday.

Reports to: Store Manager.
