Their primary focus is supporting the sales team by creating quotes, processing orders and helping to manage construction schedules. The Sales Coordinator receives daily direction from Outside Sales Person on the team and reports to Regional Sales Manager. Interacts daily with Yard Managers and both internal and external customers. Interacts regularly with corporate employees (Central Purchasing Department, Account Management Team and IT Department). Interacts regularly with vendor representatives and industry associates out of our Hillsboro, Oregon location. Starting at $20.77- $23.77 Depending on Experience + CommissionDuties and Responsibilities Duties:Establish and maintains professional relationships with customersCommunicates with wide number of customers in Residential Construction industry, and helps to sell and manages the timely flow of building materials to their jobsiteExpertly uses, promotes & facilitates PARR Bridge Strategy Proactively set, reach for and meet (or exceed) personal sales and profit goalsPrimary player in deepening customer relationship and scheduling timely material shipments ensuring account profitability as well as customer satisfaction & loyaltyAbility to sell on overall quality, value and service, rather than pricePrecisely and efficiently manage one's time and prioritize workflow in face paced environmentCommunicates with dispatch to ensure that they are not overpromising deliveries to customersSends pictures of returns to dispatch with request for pickupMaintains customer profiles in Outlook or CRM to include full name, company name, title, office number, cell number, email and matrixMaintains cleanliness of workspaceFollows best practices in order entry, setting up deliveries and all aspects of jobWalks customer to product in storeIntroduces himself/herself to customer and uses customer's name when possibleManages their open orders to ensure orders are being invoiced in a timely manner or deletedAccurately takes in plans and submits details to the MES and/or EWPUses DDMS to ensure customer satisfactionFollows SPC guidelines and proper GP%Completes PO's on time, confirms confirmation and ties PO to orderGreets walk-in customers professionallyAnswers phone promptly with professional greetingIdentifies customer's urgency and completes orders quicklyConfirms customer's material needs prior to sending deliveriesMaintains material specifications for customer PTO's in customer folderCompletes quotes and follows up in a timely mannerProactive with customer's needsMaintains a Parr Lumber share file for customer plans and take-offsHas a high level of follow-through with orders ensures inventory arrives, communicates with customers, etc. Job Knowledge:Writes PK's and Parr offered classesCompletes AMT trainingFollows proper material return proceduresManages outlook and personal notebookSearches inventory and open orders in all yards to meet customer's preferred optionUtilizes all resources to find solutionsFollows all AR account and cash handling proceduresSeeks to learn products and their application for end userCompletes Bluevolt training as neededUnderstands pricing levels and avoids un-necessary discountingAble to seek out product transactions and order historySeeks substitute products if out of stockReports low inventory when construction industry (a must)Strong communication skills both through phone and emailProven ability to develop relationshipsMust be able to operate personal computer, smartphone, scanner, and any other equipment necessary for the jobTen-key by touch requiredMust be able to type 40+ WPMProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookAbility to execute PLC selling strategies and initiativesAbility to achieve sales goals and objectivesKnowledge of PLC selling principles, practices and protocolsWillingness to share department responsibilities in order to meet deadlinesHigh
