Parker University, the fourth-fastest growing college in Texas and the fastest-growing college in Dallas, is currently searching for a part-time Clinic Community Outreach Coordinator to join our rapidly expanding team!

We are seeking a qualified, part-time Clinic Community Outreach Coordinator who desires to use their unique skills to innovate and make an impact. This individual will help build external relationships for the Chiropractic Wellness Clinic.

HOURS: Part-time, 25 hours per week (some evenings and weekend events)

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Attending community outreach events

  • Recruit and coordinate speaker schedules for intern training events.
  • Identify partnership opportunities with local corporate and community leaders with the expressed purpose of creating patient recruiting environments and educating individuals about health and wellness; facilitate discussions between community leaders to brainstorm event ideas that benefit all participating parties.
  • Create marketing workshops for Parker Wellness Clinic interns
  • Create communication skill development modules
  • Follow established university policies, regulations, and procedures
  • Follow personnel policies as established in the Personnel Manual and other policies established within the clinic
  • Provide biweekly progress reports to the CA & Community Outreach Supervisor and/or Dean of Clinics
  • Assist in processing intern marketing requests and vetting potential events
  • Managing and creating content for the Clinics newsletter as well as social media accounts

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Associate degree with a background in Communication and Marketing preferred
  • Experience in the chiropractic market and fluency in Spanish is a plus
  • Experience building external community relationships
  • Requires computer knowledge, strong customer service skills, and the ability to type 40 wpm

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be a confident professional with a strong ability to engage prospects in public settings and meet the following requirements:
  • Supervising work as needed.
  • Be able to interact with, engage and inspire prospective patients in a public setting, to make an appointment at a Parker Wellness Center.
  • Build rapport with corporate and community leaders along with all levels of internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrate an ability to listen and retain information in addition to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Have strong communications skills in order to deliver proper training to the Parker Wellness Clinics interns along with assigning work as needed
  • Be energetic, enthusiastic, highly accountable and self-motivated
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times
  • Responsibilities may include evening and weekend hours
