Sr. Financial Analyst / Finance Manager

Location: Greater Seattle Area
Employment Type: 6+ months Consulting project, Full Time
Work hours: No more than 40-hour weeks, Monday - Friday - flexible start / end times
Compensation: $56/hr - $61/hr (DEO)

Description of company: Large private company with revenues exceeding $2+B and located in Renton, WA is in need of your FP&A expertise! The team is best described as mid to large size team that consists of seasoned FP&A professionals that know the company inside and out. This important addition to the team will be working closely with the CFO, VP / Director of Finance, Sr. Operation Directors, Executive Management Team, and C-level Executives. Primary task at hand will be to play a key role in assisting decision makers in forming an objective and accurate view of operations, services, and opportunities by analyzing financial information, interpreting trends and creating metrics. Projects of interest will be, but not limited to:


Responsibilities:

  • FP&A, Modeling, Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Manage and review the Budgeting and Forecasting process for entire company, which may include: monthly, quarterly, and yearly roll over's
  • Creating and interpreting metrics, pricing modeling surrounding costs, trends, and revenue
  • Providing insight data to senior management with a focus on recommendations for improvements throughout several business divisions

Qualifications:

  • MBA or BA in Finance
  • 5 to 7+ years of FP&A related experience for a mid to large size organization with a proven history of handling increased responsibilities
  • Must be comfortable communicating and interacting with inter-department managers
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work as a individual team contributor
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with little direction
  • Must have Intermediate to Advanced skills using MS Excel and or Access
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new financial systems and use provided tools to streamline accounting and or finance procedures and functions
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new challenges, increase business growth, and or new policies and procedures outlined by company

Education:

  • MBA or BA in Finance
  • CFA highly desired but not required


Experience:

  • Strong history of modeling and creating metrics that were used to quantify and evaluate segments of a business.
  • No specific industry experience is required
  • Advanced / Proficient user of MS Excel
  • Desired SQL exposure but not required
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work on multiple projects
