A Global Manufacturing company is looking for a Senior Cost Analyst with solid cost accounting/analysis and SAP for their manufacturing plant finance team. This position will work closely with Manufacturing Controller to report all necessary cost accounting and related financial reporting and financial analysis related to the manufacturing plants.

Job Summary: This position is responsible for accurate forecasting, proper costing of products and inventories, timely monthly financial closing and reporting of manufacturing variances. This position will support the Controller in bridging actual, budget and forecasted results Responsibilities include: Support in preparing the annual budget and Long Range Plan (LRP). This includes adhering to time-lines, coordinating plant personnel and preparing presentations to Senior Management. Support business analysis for process improvements, cost savings opportunities, risk assessment and trade-offs to assure the plant will achieve short term and long term cost targets and drive toward solid business decisions Support preparation of monthly cost reports and facilitate requests as required by Senior Plant Management Support and lead reconciliations of annual physical inventory count for plant and prepare consolidated inventory reports monthly/quarterly Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations monthly and facilitate annual balance sheet review process. Responsible for ongoing account reconciliations and true-ups Support maintenance of strong internal controls including maintaining all necessary documentation in support of Sarbanes Oxley controls at the plant Other adhoc projects as assigned by the plant and corporate leadership in support of business processes

Required Skills/Experience: Bachelors in Finance or Accounting 5+ years of related experience with a pharmaceutical or consumer products company on the manufacturing side of the business Competencies/Skills: Strong self starter who displays agile behaviors and favors a hands on learning approach Intermediate skills in MS Office products (specifically Excel) Proficient with SAP or similar software
