Job Description

 

 JOB SUMMARY: 
-The Regional Sales Manager will be accountable for direct selling and leading a territory focused inside sales team to both meet and exceed sales goals. Responsible for managing the planning, organizing, controlling, attracting and developing assigned team. In addition, this position will be responsible for sales force effectiveness, metrics, and CRM tool adoption. This position will report to the Executive Vice President of Sales and is directly responsible for driving revenue and advancing the Company’s business interests.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
• Build well targeted business plans and strategies for allocating resources and driving sales activities. 

• Plans sales strategy including managing the internal processes in support of sales reps.

• Actively develops robust, comprehensive plans and manages territory business plans to meet revenue goals/quotas.

• Accurately portray forecasts and communicate sales progress.

• Builds, monitors and orchestrate sales pipeline to ensure continuous population of near and long term opportunities; manages the size, shape and quality of pipeline; analyzes overall win rates and win/loss ratios.

• Directly sells and directly manages assigned employee group. Carries out management and supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

• Assess, manage, and document employee performance to ensure individual and group excellence.
Motivate and support sales teams in prospecting and selling, including a high level of support in the pursuit and closing of new and install base deals.

• Nurture and advance the talent required to maintain Park Place Technologies sales force effectiveness within area of control. To include self directed selling, directing sales processes, and assisting sales teams in customizing/closing solutions based on client needs.

• Strategize with and coach team members on how to apply consultative-selling techniques, identifying and advancing opportunities that result in ongoing profitable revenue growth for Park Place Technologies. 

• Responsible for partnering on curriculum development, onboarding new employees, implementing sales force development plans and executing training. 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Accomplishments - Prior success in leading and managing an outside sales team in a business to business sales leadership role.

• Planning - Translates business goals into actionable plans and strategies.

• Execution - Actively manages business plans to meet revenue goals/quotes and advance the business interests of Park Place Technologies. 

• Pipeline Management – Uses CRM and lead/sales management tools to build, monitor and orchestrate sales pipeline to ensure continuous population of near- and long-term opportunities. 

• Coaching - Personally develops employee performance to ensure individual and group excellence. Drives team performance to best in class.

• Top Tier personal selling track record – personal success in selling B@B technology or warranty solutions.

Education: Bachelors Degree Desired

Experience:
-Directly related management experience and work results including success in achieving progressively high quota or other sales related goals.

-Demonstrated level of project management skills and additional specialized knowledge in breadth and/or depth. Attracting and selecting high caliber sales professionals. 

-Direct experience leading an outside territory sales team that exceeded assigned quotas.
