Job Description

During our 55th year of business we're looking for someone to join our Park N Fly Sales and Marketing team in Hartford, CT! This position would work remotely and visit the Hartford lot as needed for marketing needs. Our Corporate Marketing team is based in Atlanta, some travel for initial training and annual Marketing meetings would be expected. Park N Fly is know for it's stellar reputation at the top of the Customer Service and Airport Parking and Transportation Service industries. An organized applicant with excitement about creating and contributing new ideas and 1-2 years of prior marketing experience would be a wonderful addition to our team! 

Responsible for marketing and sales outreach to the community and execution of comprehensive marketing and sales initiatives; sell our services, and increase parker volume and revenue to targeted segments of the area.  Work closely and synergistically with the corporate marketing department to develop marketing materials, local promotion, and field sales initiatives. 

$500 sign on bonus! Paid out after 90 days of employment. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:                                                                          

  • Create and foster mutually beneficial connections with local businesses and key influencers to drive new accounts (i.e. automotive storage companies, logistics companies, rental car companies, etc.)

  • Identify and target up-to-date lead sources in maintaining an accurate and comprehensive prospect management and customer information system (CRM).
  • Collaborate with Sales team to develop new corporate accounts as well as maintain/retain existing corporate partners within our Corporate Advantage Program.
  • Develop marketing initiatives and tactics to drive increased referral business from local AAA and travel agencies.
  • Leverage expert knowledge of a target market to collaborate with Sr. Field Marketing Manager and VP Marketing in developing strategies around marketing and sales penetration.
  • Collaborate with VP of Marketing on budget to execute communication outputs (advertising, digital, print, events etc.); assess and negotiate local media opportunities.
  • Work with local Operations team to execute local events (i.e. seasonal major events, Chamber of Commerce events, Lot tours, etc.)
  • Manage relationships with local retailers (i.e. Costco, Target, etc.) in the merchandising/management of our parking giftcard/voucher programs.
  • Analyze and report on the cost, profitability, and sales growth resulting from the execution of marketing plans and business development efforts.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape impacting the local market.
  • Meet monthly revenue goals

Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations
  • 2-4 years’ experience in outside sales
