Program: Shelter and Visitation ServicesJob Type: Full Time, Non ExemptLocation: Honolulu, HawaiiThe primary responsibility of the Office Coordinator is to organize, manage and coordinate office activities and provide administrative and clerical support to the Program Director and the staff of Shelter and Visitation Services (SVS) Programs on Oahu.This position is under the direct supervision of the Program Director.The Office Coordinator will:Behaves in a manner that supports the agency's mission and follows personnel policies and procedures.Provides guidance and support to program staff for administrative functions and serves as back-up to other administrative and clerical staff on Oahu and Kauai.Performs administrative duties related to data entry, word processing, typing, reception, filing, computations, records, reports, documents, and mail.Reviews and formats reports, procedures and correspondence for appropriate quality and presentation.Composes letters... emails, notices and publications based on acquired knowledge of program philosophy and operations.Assumes responsibility for the efficient and well-coordinated functioning of the office.Orders and maintains adequate office supplies and equipment; handles the repair of equipment as necessary; and monitors inventory.Maintains and reconciles financial accounts including purchase orders and mileage reimbursements.Tracks and reports on program activity as directed.Ensures adequate information and materials flow to all staff and all SVCS Program sites.This includes supporting program operations with transporting supplies, donations and food items.Assumes the responsibilities of site safety officer and assumes all safety policies and procedures as directed.Education / Training:1. High School diploma or equivalent, required.Experience:1.

One (1) year experience in an administrative or clerical position, required.2. Minimum of one (1) years' experience in a Human Services setting, preferred.Other:1. Possesses and maintains a valid driver's license.2.
