We are hiring a Implementation Director (Value Based Care) to join our growing organization! This role is Remote, open to multiple locations.

The Implementation Director, Value-Based Care (VBC) is responsible for the effective implementation of VBC plans and programs post contracting until fully completed hand-off to operations & client management.

The Implementation Director, VBC Implementations will be client facing. They will build tools and design processes to ensure successful client onboarding, and service excellence delivery, communicating progress & ensuring implementation success including client Net Promoter Scores and implementation timelines.

This role will function in a matrixed environment and report directly to the VP of VBC Implementations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee implementation of new private payor / risk bearing entity contracts within Panoramic Health systems and processes ensuring organizational readiness

  • Provide implementation leadership, both internally and externally, in the face of ambiguity, change, and aggressive deadlines
  • Understand linkages between integration activities, company goals, and the industry context
  • Translate findings during contracting and requirements gathering processes into executable workplans, deliverables, & KPI's
  • Identify critical-path activities and ensure timely execution
  • Identify and resolve key implementation issues with functional area & executive leadership (as necessary)
  • Communicate implementation headlines, progress, and key issues to company leadership
  • Ensure overall quality and timeliness of implementation
  • Build tools and processes to improve onboarding experience
  • Support the development of an onboarding playbook to ensure a repeatable and consistent implementation process
  • Identify opportunities to improve and/or streamline implementation plans to expedite onboarding experience
  • Build materials that provide customers, leadership & practices visibility into the implementation process Build outcome-driven approach to implementation process
  • Establish & drive workplans resulting in successful implementations
  • Support development of implementation KPI's
  • Own implementation outcomes

Support Payor Contracting & Operational Readiness Processes

  • Participate in contracting meetings as necessary to stay apprised of key issues for successful implementations
  • Support development of implementation playbook during contracting and translate into action plans

Functional and Technical Qualifications

  • Ability to understand technical specifications of data and how to appropriately test.
  • Ability to translate a business requirement into a technical requirement.
  • Ability to understand the outcome desired and work backwards to identify the appropriate inputs/requirements necessary to achieve the desired outcomes.
  • PMP certification preferred, but not required.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and influence internal and external business partners.

Education/Training and Certification, Licensure, Registration Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Health Education, or related field


  • 7 years prior payor implementation experience (preferably at a vendor) with direct client facing activities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to plan and set priorities
  • Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with senior management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products
