We are partnering with a Seattle, WA professional services firm to recruit a Digital Content Marketing Specialist to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is a unique blend of content writing and digital optimization, so you will be able to own strategy for digital campaigns and content from inception to deployment. In this position, you will be responsible for optimizing written content across the company’s digital marketing channels, including email, social, digital ads and site content, among other areas as needed. You will develop campaign strategy with cross-functional marketers and will deploy campaigns, including email campaigns. To be a fit, you should bring 3+ years of experience optimizing written content for digital channels, with in-depth email experience. 

This is a new role to this organization, so you will have a seat at the strategic table with leadership to scope these projects! You will be the subject matter expert for SEO and content optimization, so cross-functional communication skills are a must. This is direct hire, permanent role that must sit in Seattle, WA or Portland, OR. Pay for this role ranges from $65,000 to $85,000 annually, depending on relevant experience. While the role will start remotely, you can anticipate a hybrid schedule when the offices reopen.

You will:

  • Own content strategy for the company’s digital channels, including long and short-form campaigns, website content, internal communications campaigns and similar
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and external agencies to ensure campaigns are optimized and driving traffic through their respective channels
  • Manage email campaigns from concept to deployment, including content writing, editing and campaign tracking and reporting
  • Maintain the company’s digital content calendar, planning campaigns and content strategically
  • Your experience should include:

  • 3+ years of digital marketing and content writing experience with in-depth knowledge of SEO best practices in the B2B space
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • In-depth knowledge of email marketing strategy – experience with ESP or automation systems
  • Experience writing B2B content across social media, email, website and other communications channels
