Instructional and Multimedia Technologist

The Instructional and Multimedia Technologist provides the PLU community with services, support, and training for the development and use of digital media and instructional technologies in teaching and learning. As part of a team of dedicated technologists, the successful candidate will assist students, faculty, and staff with a wide range of technology needs through individual consultation as well as regular training workshops. Along with the rest of the User Services team they will also develop documentation and tutorials for providing on-demand learning opportunities.
The successful candidate will join a tight-knit and welcoming IT organization with a strong commitment to customer service and a shared focus on taking lessons learned from recent changes in the regular use of technology and using them to improve services for the long term. This position reports to the Classroom and Event Technologies Team Manager.
