Construction Project Manager / Estimator Trainee

Job Responsibilities Read and review blueprints and specifications to form a scope of work for every trade. Conduct subcontractor job walks on site Secure bids for each trade, then quantify their scope and pricing. Summarize, compare and level several quotes from each trade arriving with the best price for that project Assists with management of construction projects from pre-bid pricing/cost estimating phase (via blueprint drawing analysis/take-off & field assessments) to post-construction phases (including new construction, renovations, and tenant improvement and/or rental turnovers) Perform site visits of projects to confirm progress Estimate and manage tenant improvement projects, negotiate with subcontractors for cost effective job pricing Job Requirements Minimum 3 years in the construction field Proficiency in Outlook, EXCEL,QuickBooks, AutoCAD Lite and Microsoft Project Multitasking a must in this fast paced construction office Ability to work as a team Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 3 - 5 years Bonus/Commission: Yes
