Job Description:
A leading distributor of factory automation components is looking for Outside Sales Rep.
The Outside Sales Representative is a key player in our organization. The person in this
role should be a self-starter with the ability to manage key accounts for the purpose of
maintaining and increasing both sales and gross profit.
This person will be responsible for promoting the company and key manufacturers and suppliers
the company aligns with from a strategic standpoint. It requires someone who has excellent
communication, time management, and computer skills. Daily, weekly and monthly reporting
may be required, as well as an ability to analyze customer data and trends in order to develop
strong business plans for each key account, and to plan and achieve specific sales and GP goals
and to execute the plans for each fiscal year.
Requirements:
This position requires the ability to travel up to 60% of the time (primarily day travel but, as
necessary, about 10% overnight travel).
At least 2 years of working experience
A valid driver’s license
College degree
