About the Opportunity Are you an individual with strong analytic tendencies and good critical thinking skills? Do you have experience supporting a wide array of purchasing and supply chain needs? If so, take a look at this opportunity to work within a high-impact position, supporting a company whose products literally save lives! Your daily responsibilities will include: Place purchase orders for materials Material Order Confirmation: Respond to request from Material planning to obtain best material date, and availability for new and existing orders Solicit price and delivery information from suppliers Develop and execute projects to enhance supply chain operations Perform data collection and analysis Partner with cross functional team members in support of new product development & launches, material planning, order management and revenue planning Implement contingency plans with Production Planning and Manufacturing when inventory availability commitments are at risk and initiate work-around activities Demonstrate business professionalism, purchasing fundamentals, time management, data analytics, supply chain management, supplier development, cost reduction strategy development and negotiation techniques. This 12-month contract position is hybrid in nature (remote & onsite) and pays $27-29 per hour (DOE).

Medical/Dental benefit eligibility is available after 60-days of employment. No guarantee of a Temp-to-Hire opportunity, but future business needs may require that this position converts into a core, long-term opportunity – for the right individual! About the Candidate We Are Looking For Candidates must have the following key qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Management, or related fields. At least 2+ years’ experience in a supply management role, or related position Proven knowledge of inventory management Excellent analytical skills Working knowledge of data analytics and forecasting tools, with an ability to develop actionable insights from data Must be familiar with part numbering systems, bill of material configurations, and production reporting mechanisms. Must have aptitude for organization, accuracy, and attention to detail. Ability to verbalize and to resolve issues relating to customer requirements, manufacturing processes and supplier capabilities.
