REMOTE opportunity-Clinical Quality Coordinator-RN
Responsibilities:
Support quality assurance and performance improvement activities, ie - identifying trends and opportunities by analyzing clinical data, serving as a subject matter expert and recommending improvements
Investigate clinical grievances and quality of care concerns for the company's product lines
Ensure the completion and submission of documents related to grievance, appeal, incident and quality improvement activities, within regulatory guidelines, by staff
Analyze clinical data with Quality and IT staff
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Current & valid New York State RN (Registered Professional Nurse) license
(2) Two years in managed care setting
Care Management, Quality, Utilization Management and/or Grievance & Appeals experience
Proficiency in Medicare and Medicaid regulations
Independent worker with skills in managing problems efficiently
Skilled in analytics and communication (both oral and written)
High-level understanding of personal computer, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
$95,000-$110,000
