Junior Java Developer

PPT Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Junior Java Developer in Columbia, MD. 

Job Overview for the Junior Java Developer: 

The Junior Java Developer will help build Web and backend application/services for credentialing/case management system. Using Java/Spring based REST APIs along with a Web 2.0 framework and a continuous integration environment. The candidate will join our team of developers building the next-generation of customer engagement systems for federal service agencies. Minimum of one (1) year of recent experience developing and implementing software solutions using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap and Java.

Required Qualifications for the Junior Java Developer: 

• 1+ years of Java development experience in order to build enterprise applications
• 1+ years experience with using Java development tools (e.g. Eclipse, JUnit, Git)
• Must be a US Citizen 
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance

Desired Qualifications for the Junior Java Developer: 

• Experience in a large scale Federal IT Program
• Experience with Agile SAFe delivery framework
• Experience at DHS is a plus
• Active Secret Level Security Clearance preferred.
