Phlebotomist / Biobank Technician

Plasma Services Group (PSG) is s looking for a phlebotomist / Biobank technician. PSG is a Biotech company that provides human blood and biological samples to the diagnostic industry.  This is a part-time position with competitive, salaried pay and PTO.  

This position requires a certification and/or licensure to perform phlebotomy (CPT – Certified Phlebotomy Technician). The right candidate must have a valid driver's license and be comfortable collecting at-home human blood and biological specimens and learning how to process the samples for storage in a Biobank.

Daily job responsibilities include traveling to perform at-home blood and biological collections according to various collection protocols, preparing the collected specimens for use in projects and for biobank storage (this entails centrifugation, pipetting, labelling, and updating a database with sample information and location).  This position also requires communicating a daily collection schedule to the PSG team to help ensure seamless project and lab workflow.

Applicants must be able to work well within a team dynamic and have strong communication and organization skills.  The right candidate should also be detail oriented and able to self-direct and optimize changing daily draw schedules and sample processing tasks.

This is a part-time, salaried position with the following benefits:

Competitive Salary – payment based on 24 hrs of work / week, not on # of draws
