Market Research/BI Summer Intern

Description/Job Summary

PITT OHIO, a $900 million, high service, highly profitable, transportation solutions provider offering SUPPLY CHAIN, GROUND, LTL and TRUCKLOAD services is seeking a Market Research/BI Summer Intern. This internship position is located at our corporate headquarters in the Strip District area of Pittsburgh, PA.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Sales team to develop and document account information for top customers
  
• Assist with an Account Plan process
  
• Clean up secure customer information

Project:

Assist with developing data to use in Sales and Marketing, as well as developing new processes to maintain this data.

Qualifications:

• Must be majoring in one of the following areas: Marketing or Business
• GPA 3.5 or higher
• Fluent English language skills required to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently
  
• Excellent organizational skills
  
• Ability to work with large data sets in Excel
  
• A functional knowledge of SQL
  
• Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics
  
• Effective problem-solving skills
