Key Account Manager
- Full-Time
Objective: The FarmStats Key Account and Customer Experience Manager will serve as the first point of contact for key clients. Responsibilities include ensuring satisfaction in services provided, identifying new business opportunities, and managing the overall client relationship to ensure a positive, efficient, and effective experience. This candidate will also work directly with pork producers to analyze biological and financial performance data to identify areas of strengths and opportunities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provide a strategic and supportive partnership for our customers at every stage of the FarmStats service with a focus on building long-term client retention.
- Organization, time management, communication, collaboration, problem solving, and exceptional interpersonal skills and a client centered approach required.
- Identify customer needs and collaborate with the Business Services team to optimize the FarmStats service.
- Exhibit in-depth knowledge of customer engagement channels.
- Ability to understand statistical design and analysis as it relates to wean to finish swine performance data.
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS
- Swine production data entry for learning daily processes and cross-training purposes.
- Basic understanding of swine marketing and risk management strategies.
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
Education: Post secondary Animal Science, Agricultural Business, or Agricultural Communications degree preferred, but not required.
Equivalent experience also considered.
Experience: 3-5 years of prior customer service experience required.
Knowledge of basic swine production and/or agricultural production records and calculations
Microsoft Excel and/or Access.
Additional Requirements:
Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to get to work.
Must be willing to attend early morning or evening meetings along with overnight travel as needed.
