Marketing Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a creative Marketing Associate to join our growing team. The candidate would be creative and enthusiastic about helping to grow our online presence and represent our brand according to our values and mission of Serving Happiness to People and Pets. This includes but is not limited to social media outreach, monitoring engagement while also supporting the Marketing department in its primary and administrative duties.

Job Duties:

 

·         Publish and share content on company’s social media platforms

·         Copywriting for social media posts

·         Community engagement

·         Assist with day to day marketing duties

·         Assist with trade show and event coordination

·         Weekly social media reports/metrics

·         Outreach to various businesses and organizations for potential collaborations

·         Assemble sample packages for various events, ambassadors, and promotions

·         Reviewing and replying to Amazon reviews

·         Monitoring social media engagement

·         Support/Manage Pet ‘n Shape Booth at events (includes setup and takedown)

·         Uploading email signups to mailing list on CRM platform

Qualifications:

 

·         Experience publishing on social media platforms

·         Entry level knowledge of social listening and analytics (Facebook/Instagram insights, Google Analytics/AdWords, Amazon reviews)

·         General knowledge of social media trends and best practices

·         Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, MailChimp, Google Docs, Slides, Forms, experience with Adobe Suite, video                  editing experience preferred

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Ability to juggle multiple projects at once

·         Ability to work in a fast-paced, creative environment

·         Event coordination experience a plus

·         BA in Communications, Marketing, English, Business, Public Relations, Graphic Design, Film, or related degree.

·         1 year in Digital Marketing/Social Media Marketing required
