The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the recruiting process, coordinating new employee onboarding, and providing overall administrative support for the department. In a fast-paced recruiting world, the qualified candidate must recognize the significance of working efficiently with high energy and passion as they assist with sourcing and onboarding the next members of our PEG Team. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills which will be essential in communicating with multiple personalities, different career specialities, and levels of management.

As part of the HR Department, this position requires a candidate that understands the importance of labor laws and how they play a part in company policies and procedures, compliance, and talent acquisition. THE ROLE Job Location: This position is based in our main office in Fairfax, VA. Essential Functions: Assist in coordinating the successful execution of the recruiting process involving the promoting of open job positions, sourcing potential candidates, coordinating phone screens/interviews, and other relevant administrative tasks related to the tracking of job boards being used, maintenance and upkeep of recruiting contact list, and collection of professional references for potential candidates. Assist in facilitating and assisting with the completion of new hire packets, scanning/filing of documents for employee personnel files, and other HR-related administrative tasks required during the onboarding process Assist in maintaining files, records, and database with effective filing systems in direct connection with the maintenance of our HRIS Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner Perform other duties, as assigned, to assist and support the Human Resources Department Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks. Contribute to team effort by assisting the Administrative Support Team in answering phone calls to the main office line and, if necessary, aid in the completion of assigned projects Education/Experience: BS/BA in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field OR A minimum of 1 year of directly related work experience is required in Sourcing/Recruiting A minimum of 2 years of directly related work experience is required in HR Administration within a HRIS Additional Requirements: Applicable HR knowledge related to compliance (labor laws), recruiting processes, and overall HR processes Must have experience with Sourcing in multiple platforms (i.e. Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, etc.) Must have experience with HR software or HRIS Must have strong software skills with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and other related software programs Must be dependable, self-directed, organized, detail-oriented, and able to complete projects with limited supervision Must have excellent verbal/written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Multi-tasking aptitude Proactive problem solver Rewards and Benefits PEG LLC offers a comprehensive, total rewards package that includes competitive compensation and a flexible benefits package that reflects our commitment to creating a diverse and supportive workplace.
