Sr System Admin (VMWare) w/ TS/SCI Clearance

We are searching for a skilled Senior System Administrator with VMWare experience to join our team supporting engineering tasks onsite in Arlington, VA (Crystal City).

The ideal candidate has a VMware certification (VMWare Certified Professional (VCP) or VMware Certified Associate (VCA)) and Microsoft certification (Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA), MCSA Windows Server 2016 or equivalent). Active DoD Security clearance (TOP SECRET w/ SCI Eligible) required.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Operational and maintenance (O&M) support for NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and JWICS system infrastructure for approximately 400 users.
• O&M support for Special Access System infrastructure for approximately 150 users.
• O&M support for Printer infrastructure, to include Pharos Secure Print.
• Develop, implement, manage, and maintain VDI for thick/thin/zero clients and server virtualization technologies.
• O&M support for SQL Database infrastructure.
• O&M support for OMC server and desktop-based software applications.
• Provide data backup and restoration capabilities for NIPRNET, SIPRNET, JWICS, and Special Access Systems.
• Support replication of network file share volumes via Distributed Files System w/ Replication (DFS-R) between the NCR and NSGB locations.
• Provide support for storage area network (SAN) and encrypted file storage capabilities.
• Create/maintain a standalone workstation images in accordance with DOD security standards.
• Provide systems recovery and repair operations employing industry best practices for systems troubleshooting and fault isolation.

Required Experience:

• 7+ years of experience with Microsoft System Administration in an enterprise environment, including Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policies, and Visual Basic Scripting
• 4+ years of experience with VMware to include vCenter, vSphere, and ESX 6.x, on different networks; administering enterprise-sized VMware-based virtualization infrastructures covering vCenter and standalone ESXi environments
• 4+ years supporting Windows based servers running in a VMware virtualized environment
• Troubleshooting and problem resolution for servers associated with a VMware virtual infrastructure

Certification(s):

• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required prior to support on contract
• Required Security Environment Certification: CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent (or higher)
• VMware certifications preferred (VMWare Certified Professional (VCP) or VMware Certified Associate (VCA))
• Microsoft certification preferred: Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA), MCSA Windows Server 2016 or equivalent
