Senior Tent Sales Consultant/Senior Project Manager

The Senior Tent Sales Consultant is tasked with maintaining customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and following up on potential leads. The position requires monitoring of industry trends in order to identify new markets and opportunities as well as the need to develop plans to utilize those markets and expand revenue. The position requires a proficient understanding of tenting and all related components and as such is seen as a leader in assisting with the design and coordination of other team members’ projects. A heavy design focus and assistance in discovering and purchasing new product that will continue to drive new business and enhance the brand is required. The position reports to the Director of Tent Sales & Events in a direct reporting relationship.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Generate weekly sales reports and submit them to Management

· Utilize available resources for prospecting and conversion

· Grow existing customer relationships with new product introductions and opportunities

· Meet sales goals

· Collaborate with Management on marketing materials needed to expand market reach

· Attend industry events and trade shows for education on new product and to maintain relationships with existing customers

· Understand industry trends and opportunities for market growth

· Maintain accurate customer information in the Company database

· Coordinate all necessary documentation for successful installation of a tented event

· Assist customers with problem solving, project layout and design, and project management

· Work with other Company brands for cross-selling opportunities

· Provide support to customers throughout planning, install, and removal with immediate responses

· Answer email and phone inquiries and generate quotes with event/site specific information

· Create site plans and interior layouts for permitting and on-site installation

· Maintain Packing Lists based on site requirements and sketches

· Update invoices as changes are made in the field during install or removal by communicating with both operations and the field supervisors

· Coordinate confirmed project scheduling with support staff

· Provide “day of” support to key customers for complex events

· Promote new products and inform customers of any pricing, policy or procedural changes

· Monitor and reconcile receivables as instructed by the Company’s Finance Department

· Address “Overbooked” inventory with Peak operational support in order to resolve potential issues

· Coordinate sub-rentals based on overbooked items at the point of sale

· Provide feedback to help with continuous improvement

· Promote Peak in the market with a positive attitude & outstanding service

· Maintain scheduled in-office days and updates the Peak shared calendar with all off-site appointments complete with invoice number (if available), contact person, and event information

· Attendance of all Peak scheduled sales & company meetings

· Perform other duties and projects as assigned by your direct Manager

JOB REQUIREMENTS

· A complete knowledge of all company product so as to cross sell

· Maintain a positive attitude and strong customer service focus

· Maintain professional standards of integrity and honesty in representing the Company

· Meet monthly/quarterly/annual departmental sales and support measures

· Maintain the quality service standards of the Company

· Regularly meet with the Director of Tent Sales and Events to review weekly sales activities, progress on goals, and the status of the department’s performance

· Provides support to all other company team members, as needed

In order to successfully achieve this, the position may require weekend and late night work. At a minimum a full work-week is maintained with at least (2.5) scheduled office days.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

· Self-motivated and comfortable working with little or no direction

· Ability to collaborate with all levels within the organization

· Sales process skills

· Strong organization, customer service and communication skills

· Creativity

· Knowledge of the tent event planning process and an understanding of the mechanics of executing successful tented events

· Demonstrated ability to be flexible and have a “Make it Happen” attitude

· Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills

· The commitment to work the hours that the job requires, particularly during seasonally peak times of the year in order to accomplish the responsibilities of the job

COMPENSATION

· $100,000 - $150,000 Projected Annual Salary (base salary & commissions)
